Terms

These terms apply to use of Reporter Sidekick and Reporter Sidekick Pro. They are a practical launch draft and should be reviewed before paid public release.

AI-assisted workflow

Reporter Sidekick provides research, drafting, organization, and quality-control assistance. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular proceeding. Reporter Sidekick does not certify transcripts and does not guarantee that every error will be found.

Reporter responsibility

The court reporter remains solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, producing, signing, and certifying the final transcript and related work product. Suggestions must be checked against the record, exhibits, audio, applicable rules, and the reporter’s professional judgment.

License and account access

A Reporter Sidekick Pro purchase grants the purchaser a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the product. Login credentials, protected workflow materials, and paid access may not be resold, republished, or shared to provide access to another person.

Third-party services

Use requires compatible OpenAI software and an eligible ChatGPT account. ChatGPT subscriptions, service availability, usage limits, model behavior, and data handling are controlled by OpenAI and are not included in the Reporter Sidekick purchase. Authentication, hosting, and payment processing may be provided by additional third parties under their own terms.

Customer files and permissions

The customer is responsible for having authority to process every transcript, exhibit, audio file, contact record, and other item provided to the product. Customers should follow court rules, confidentiality obligations, protective orders, client requirements, and employer policies.

Product changes

Reporter Sidekick may correct, improve, add, replace, or discontinue features as platforms and professional workflows change. Material purchase, refund, and support terms will be shown at checkout before paid release.
