Keep your purchase email handy
Use the email you entered at Stripe checkout for your Reporter Sidekick account. It can be different from your ChatGPT email. A receipt confirms payment; this page alone does not activate access.
Set up Reporter Sidekick Pro
Use Pro inside Codex with a folder on your computer. Your Reporter Sidekick login connects your purchase to your account.
Public installation is not available yet. If you already purchased Pro, contact support for setup assistance.
Your Profile Maker access code

Open Reporter Sidekick Profile Maker, choose your preferences, then click Download Your Profile and enter this code.
This code unlocks your profile download. Pro in Codex still requires verified sign-in with your purchase email.
Open Codex and install Pro
Sign in to Codex with your own eligible OpenAI account. Use the Pro installation link above when it becomes available, and follow the installation instructions shown by Codex.
Connect your Reporter Sidekick account
When Pro asks to connect, create your Reporter Sidekick account using your purchase email. Open the verification email, verify the address, and return to Codex to connect again if needed.
If two-step sign-in is offered, follow the enrollment instructions and keep recovery codes somewhere safe. Never send your password, sign-in codes, or recovery codes to support.
Try the sample job
Download the fictional sample job, extract it, and select that folder in Codex. Choose Reporter Sidekick Pro for the task and send:
Activate my Reporter Sidekick Pro access. Describe the sample exhibit in this folder and save the result here. Show me the completed file.
Activation links the purchase to your Reporter Sidekick account. You do not need to purchase again if activation is still pending.
Open the result
Pro should confirm active access, read the sample exhibit, and provide a link to a saved description. Open that file before starting a real job. Then choose your own authorized job folder and tell Pro what you need.
If you get stuck
- No purchase found: check the email on your Stripe receipt against your Reporter Sidekick login. Payment processing may still be pending.
- Email not verified: use the verification email, then reconnect Pro.
- Purchase already activated elsewhere: sign in to the original Reporter Sidekick account or contact support. Do not buy a second license to fix a login problem.
- Suspended or refunded access: contact support with your purchase email and receipt reference.
- No saved file: confirm that Codex has access to the selected folder and that you are using the Pro plugin.
